So, what exactly is glass painting? Well, you’ve probably seen tons of it, even if you didn’t know what they were. The name is pretty self-explanatory. It is the art of painting on glass.

First, you’ll to scrub the glass with some warm, soapy water. Better do it twice, just to make sure you cleaned up all the dirt so you can get to the actual paint. Now you’ll need a razor. While holding it at a 45-degree angle, gently scrape the glass to remove the paint. Make sure to keep it wet so you won’t scratch the glass itself. Now all that’s left to do is to wipe the glass clean and make sure you removed all the paint. If not, just repeat the process until it’s done. Glass etching
Now, glass etching is a bit more complicated for beginners. Let’s just say it is done by applying acidic, caustic, or abrasive substances.

Not that it isn’t doable, of course, but you do have to be a bit more careful with this one. However, what we are focusing on what happens when you make a mistake. To remove etchings from the glass is actually a pretty simple task.

To do the etching removal, you just have to scrub it with baking soda. Just use your finger dipped in baking soda and scrub it over the area that is scratched. After the baking soda is dry, just wash it off and that’s it!
